Construction Execution Across Ontario

Construction Project Execution in Toronto and Ontario - Schedule, Cost, and On-Site Delivery

We run construction projects end-to-end for owners, developers, and operators across Ontario, taking a project from contract award through site mobilization, trade coordination, schedule control, cost reporting, and turnover.

Execution Model

What construction project execution means at ProWise Construction.

Construction Project Execution is the contractual model where the owner hands the build to a single accountable party and steps back from day-to-day site management. We carry schedule, cost, procurement, contract administration, field supervision, and quality assurance under one engagement.

This differs from Construction Management, where we sit beside the owner as their agent and the owner holds more direct trade-contract control. Project Execution is the right model when the owner wants project outcome accountability concentrated in one builder.

Deliverables

What we deliver.

Execution leadership is practical: the schedule, the trades, the budget record, the field decisions, and the turnover path are all managed by one accountable construction team.

01

Construction schedule and resource plan

A complete construction schedule built around the critical path: sequencing trades, long-lead procurement, inspections, approval gates, labour ramp-up, equipment, site logistics, and phase boundaries when work runs beside an active operation.

02

Cost estimating, procurement, and tender support

Pre-construction cost estimating against the project budget or GMP, trade-package scoping, tendering with qualified contractors, bid analysis, and award recommendations with open-book visibility through buy-out.

03

Contract administration and stakeholder coordination

Trade-contract administration, consultant coordination, change-order processing, payment certificates, and communication with owners, design teams, municipalities, lenders, plant operations, tenants, and other stakeholders.

04

Field supervision and QA reporting

A named site lead supervises trades, holds daily safety and progress meetings, maintains the site log, manages RFIs, and runs quality inspections at defined hold points with weekly reporting to the owner.

05

Integrated design-build delivery

When the owner prefers one contract covering design and construction, we partner with ProWise Engineering to coordinate the handover from design intent to constructed reality.

Project Types

Project types we run.

If you are scoping a fast-track industrial or retail rollout, send us your project parameters and we will set up an early-stage call.

Industrial

Industrial and logistics warehouses

Distribution centres, fulfilment buildings, light manufacturing plants, slabs sized for racking and equipment loads, dock logistics, and PHSR-aware sequencing.

Healthcare

Medical and long-term care facilities

Phased work in occupied or partially occupied healthcare settings, infection-control measures, MEP and life-safety integration, and scheduled handover around operations.

Retail

Retail and food-service rollouts

Multi-location programs across the GTA and Ontario with landlord coordination, brand-standard execution, and delivery cadence built around opening dates.

Retrofit

Industrial retrofits and equipment installs

Plant modifications beside production, equipment rigging and platforms, MEP rework, and safety-review coordination where new or modified equipment triggers review under Ontario Regulation 851.

Commercial

Office tenant fit-outs and base building

Office TI, partition layouts, MEP redistribution, IT and life-safety integration, landlord coordination, and phased tenant entry where base-building work is included.

Control Rhythm

How we stay on schedule and budget.

Every project runs on schedule discipline, cost transparency, and field accountability so the owner sees the work moving in real time, not in hindsight.

Schedule discipline

Weekly look-ahead meetings, critical-path tracking, and costed recovery plans when slippage appears in the forecast.

Cost transparency

Open-book buy-out, line-item trade pricing, and monthly cost reports tying work-in-place to budget, change orders, and contingency draw.

Field accountability

A named site lead captures daily logs, safety observations, RFI status, progress against the look-ahead, and owner-facing next steps. RFI turnaround commitments are set at project kickoff and tracked weekly.

Delivery Choice

When Construction Management is the better fit.

Project Execution and Construction Management are two distinct service models. Choose Project Execution when you want one accountable party for schedule, cost, and delivery under a fixed-price, GMP, or design-build contract.

Choose Construction Management when you want a single advisor running the process but you intend to hold the trade contracts yourself, or when you want a GMP without giving up design authority.

Engineering Handover

Engineering credentials behind the build.

Where projects need feasibility, structural design, MEP, Ontario Building Code review, PHSR, or P.Eng. certification, ProWise Engineering carries that scope under a separate professional engagement. Owners get one point of contact for the build and coordinated engineering integration without juggling unrelated firms.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is the difference between Project Execution and Construction Management?

Project Execution means we run the build under a contract that holds us accountable for schedule, cost, and delivery. Construction Management means we manage the build on the owner's behalf while the owner keeps more control over trade contracts.

Do you handle design-build?

Yes. Design-build is integrated through ProWise Group: ProWise Engineering carries the design scope and ProWise Construction executes the build. We also run construction-only execution against owner-supplied or third-party designs.

How do you handle cost overruns and schedule slippage?

Weekly look-ahead tracking surfaces slippage early. Cost variances are reported monthly against GMP or baseline with drivers and recovery options. Owner-initiated scope changes go through documented change management.

What projects do not fit Project Execution?

Pure consulting or oversight roles fit Construction Management. Very small renovations under roughly $500K usually fit better under a lighter renovation and retrofit structure.
